  • Instruction is provided for no fewer that ten (10) hours per week

  • Instruction is available for students confined to a hospital, convalescent home or other medical institution

Superior Faculty

MRESC faculty members are New Jersey Department of Education approved, state certified employees who are knowledgeable of and experienced with home instruction program criteria. Faculty members are selected for employment based on their experience, professionalism, and ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.

Practicality

MRESC may provide services in districts where limited personnel resources are available as well as in areas where low incident needs make it impractical for districts to hire specialized personnel.

Bilingual Services

MRESC-trained consultants are available to work with students whose primary language is not English.

The Middlesex Regional Educational Services Commission provides services and programs to meet the needs of it's twenty four(24) member school districts.

The primary purposes of the Middlesex Regional Educational Services Commission are to identify needs and provide creative educational approaches and programs to member school districts. In addition, the Commission provides an opportunity for local educational agencies to work cooperatively in studying common problems while maintaining local control.
